Vivo started a new sub-brand called iQOO last year that managed to pack top-end features with affordability in mind. The company is back with another blockbuster in the form of the iOQQ 7 series that includes the Legend variant. This phone carries a 6.62-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ quality at 1080x2400 pixels resolution. The screen comes with a punch hole design and produces pixel density stands of 398 PPI. The Realme 7 Pro is the spiritual successor to the Realme 6 Pro, boasting of big upgrades such as an AMOLED display, stereo speakers, and 65W fast charging. The Realme 7 Pro features the same mirror-split design on its back as the Realme 7, but it's a lot slimmer (8.7mm) and lighter (182g), even compared to the Realme 6 Pro. The Realme 7 Pro performed well as it features the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC as the 6 Pro. Realme UI ran pretty smoothly without missig a beat. The Super AMOLED display was great for watching videos on, and this experience was enhanced by the stereo speakers. There's a 4,500mAh battery in the Realme 7 Pro, which on average easily lasted for more than one day starting on a full charge.

Regular photos taken in daylight generally looked good. HDR was handled well, details were good, and colours looked natural. The OnePlus brand, which originally coined the phrase ‘flagship killer’, has been moving slowly into the premium smartphone space in recent years. The newly-launched OnePlus Nord (first impressions) is not a flagship phone nor is it a flagship killer, but it is a stab by the company to re-establish a foothold in the mid-range.
In terms of pricing, the OnePlus Nord starts at Rs 24,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB version. This is incidentally also the price point the OnePlus 2 was launched at nearly six years ago. However, unlike six years ago the competition in the mid-range segment has reached new heights. We have several smartphones from Realme, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Vivo that are all vying for a bigger share of this lucrative market. The OnePlus Nord is the start of a brand new series from the company but does it have what it takes to keep up with the competition? In this detailed review, I will try and answer this question.
